Officer Is Acquitted of Assault Charges

A New York City police officer accused of excessive force in the apprehension of an Iraq war veteran in a Manhattan housing project was acquitted of all criminal charges on Monday.

The officer, David London, was seen on videotape striking a man with his baton dozens of times while the man lay on the ground in a housing project on West 93rd Street in July 2008.

But Officer London, 45, testified that the surveillance footage of the episode misrepresented the confrontation and did not capture that the man, Walter Harvin, was verbally hostile and did not heed the officer’s commands to stop resisting arrest.

Fair justice system. Give me a break. Maybe people need to revisit the
movie “The Great Debater” there was a debate on the justice system in America, and it was dead on balls accurate.

To beat a guy and expect him to say nothing, is like whipping your child’s behind and not expecting him to cry.

And since when was freedom of speech abolished? He was “verbally hostile”? well that is relative. Remember 12 jurors did not see Rodney King get beat either.

The only thing that will stop abusive cops will be abusive people. Remind them that violence does beget violence. Tear that city apart like they did in California, when they got tired of Police brutality and believe me they will think twice.

Believe me O.J. got off because of the Rodney King incident.

What has me fumed about people like Portman is their ignorance and bigotry towards anything on two legs except themselves. Why must vegans always equate themselves with righteousness and meat-eaters with heartlessness or something more sinister. Portman compared carnivores to admitted child rapist Roman Polanski; yet, she signed a petition to have him released. So what’s she really saying? Carnivores are horrible like rapists but we have her support? Sounds like to me girly don’t really know what to say out her mouth. And, I’m sure every person out there who has been a victim of rape is just giddy about the crime of rape being down played.

Further, let’s not forget, if humans didn’t eat meat many of these animals would starve to death because of over population.

Vegetarians complain of the inhumane treatment of animals; but, there is never a concern for the inhumane treatment of our planet. Human beings need oxygen to live, and with global warming and cooling, just imagine what would happen to this planet if every single individual ate the plant life only.

It seems to me that by advocating the consumption of plant life one would also be advocating for the extinction of humans. We need plants and trees to produce oxygen in order to survive, and so do animal. We don’t need animals for survival. So, if I have to choose, I will eat meat not the oxygen producing plant life I need to survive.

Aren’t you just tired of hearing what the lord is going to do for someone when they are down or jealous of someone else. I know I am. I’m tired of people who spend most of their lives screwing their life to the fullest and then crying poor me when they wake up finally and realize they have nothing and nothing’s coming.

Perhaps education should have been a priority. Maybe they shouldn’t have bedded down the first man that said I love you or not had that first child let alone child two through five. Perhaps he should have used a condom or self restraint. Public assistance probably could have been used as a last resort not as the first resort. And only if they hadn’t thought they were grown and new it all, they wouldn’t feel like they are stuck in a dead in life.

Every time I run into people who start half-ass quoting their versions on the bible I just roll my eyes. It’s funny how when someone is feeling bad about their life Jesus suddenly becomes a major player in it. Where was Jesus when the good times were rollin’? Where was he before the 5 to 15 or life incarceration? Where was the desire to acknowledge your precious lord when you decided on not working for everything like he said or when living off tax-payers, getting over on your family and friends became the number one priority? And why was Jesus or Allah not an option instead of the weed man or the need for a welfare check?

Well let me tell you. You treat your god as back-up rather than the main player. You use him and then place him back on the shelf when you get what you want. When you need to convince someone, god is either your witness or you challenge him to strike you down if you are lying, knowing that he will not in either case. When you are in pain, it’s "god please make it stop" not remembering a thing about him when you were doing the various sinful things you do to make yourself feel good. And when you think you are about to die, it’s "god please help me" forgetting about that previous challenge to strike you down. Your lord is only called upon when you need something and when you don’t, he’s just a memory from your last crisis.

Here’s an epiphany for you, god is not on your side, he doesn’t have your back and he will never bless you. Why! for one simple fact; you are users. God is only a part of your life when it’s falling apart and then you kick him to the curb when your life is at its peak performance. Us non-Jesus freaks don’t like users so why would you think god would? It is not ok use the lord people and any attempt to do so will simply bring more chaos into your lives, it may bring your lords wrath down upon you!

OMG!

I have this burning question continuously swirling in my head. I’ve visited many homes over the years for various reasons and it never ceases to amaze me how women can live in utter squalor? Poverty I can understand, but filth and poverty has nothing to do with one another. Most of the women I speak of come from families of means. The houses they were raised in were immaculate most of the time and they were taught to do house chores, cleaning, laundry and cooking. However, they never seem to have time for housekeeping when it comes to their own homes.

From the time you enter their front doors the only thing you can think of is… ‘God please don’t let me touch anything, cause I don’t want to catch nothing’ and the next thing that comes to mind is how fast you can get out of there. But, oh no here comes the kicker, they always want to offer you a seat on that sofa which looks like a something found in the filthiest back alleys of the worse ghettos in America. Then they drive this horrifying experience home by offering you food right after you just pretended not seeing that roach crawl down the wall. And naturally by now, your skin fills like shits crawling all over it.

What the hell is wrong with these women? I believe one can safely assume they know their house look and smell (ahotmess.com). They stand their talking, laughing and joking with you like a stinkin, funky dirty house is all the rave. Well let me inform you girls its not! And of course they are all divas, just check out their Facebook or Myspace pages. They always talking about "girl I just cleaned my house and fed my kids now I’m ready to do me" Beauty-cuties let me tell you this, part of doing you is cleaning your house. IT IS A DIRECT REFLECTION ON YOU!!! You see that new man you drag home drunk from the club is probably not gonna stick around anyway; but, after spending a night in your house, he is never coming back for sure, bank on it. Food is the way to a mans heart not filth.

Why do they not clean, and why do they not make their children clean? Cleaning is really not that difficult. You pick-up what you drop, wipe up what you spill, vaccum at least weekly along with dusting and washing the clothes. Dishes should be washed after every meal. Put all trash in the trash can. How hard can this be?

There was a time when women prided themselves on their house cleaning skills. Has women’s lib caused us to become lazy-asses? I don’t think so. I think a good portion of the problem here is the low standards men are accepting in a mate. Most of these women are looked upon by men because they are thin or attractive, light-skinned or they have a free place for them to live, and these women know this. They don’t have to work to keep a man because he’s not going anywhere; you can’t beat free Section 8 housing. These ladies have simply stopped trying because the men are now the gold diggas, they accept these women no matter what. I guess a free pad with all the amenities squalor can bring beats a concrete sidewalk  at -10 degrees any day.

I can’t do it tho, the filthy couch, the nasty carpet and dirty black walls and I have never been a fan of peoples household pest pets. I don’t like crawly crawlies crawling all of me nor do I want to share my food with them. Homeless or not I can’t do the squalor thing. I refuse to live in filth. I’ll take the concrete and cold, Thank you very much ma’am.

Ordained Offender

Please, someone, explain this to me as if I’m slow. How in the hell does a registered child sex offender get ordained as a minister? Why would someone ordain him? O.k., fine, he has served his time, but this is no different than leaving a needle full of heroin in front of a heroin addict and expecting him not to touch. Let’s get real, he’s gonna touch. This man may not have direct access to children at the ministry, but they are there and no one can be watched perfectly at all times. This man sexually assaulted (sodomized) an 11 year old boy, and yes, unfortunately this is a broken old record that we’ve heard before, where the church is concerned. Pastor Randy Meadows ordained Mark Hourigan September 13th because he believed that Hourigan is reformed. “Yea right “

Dear Mr. Meadows this man is not only a rapist but a child rapist. He’s preyed upon the most defenseless of society. He has just completed his parole a year ago and you ordain him, so what was the big rush to place him in such an authoritative position? All the factual statistics point to the fact that of all criminals, child sex offenders are more likely to repeat their crimes than any other group.

If there is ever a question as to why families no longer come to church, you need to look no further than your own parish. I wouldn’t sit my child next to a child rapist let alone have one preach to him. Perhaps someone needs to examine you, Pastor Meadows. Deluding ones self is never a good sign sir.

Since the first healthcare reform bill was presented back in June, concessions in the interest of bipartisanship, have been made so that the conservative base would endorse the bill. After many months of revising the initial bill, Senator Max Baucus submitted a revised version with most of the concessions the Republicans asked for. Senator Baucus was praised for his efforts and the concessions he made, yet the Republicans still refused to endorse the bill. It is as though the religious right, a people who laud themselves as god fearing, and a loving, caring people, could careless of the 46 million uninsured Americans or the 25 million more that are under insured. In my opinion the healthcare reform bill has been treated with great malice of heart by the right wing.

President Obama would like to have a government sponsored option in the bill for all Americans; However, the GOP and unfortunately too many Democrats are strongly opposed. They believe a government-run option would put private insurers out of business. But, what about us 46 million uninsured, who worries if we are permanently put out of business via death due to lack of insurance? For instance, on Sunday February 25, 2007, while both President George Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney were still serving office, and enjoying their taxpayer funded insurance, 12 year old Deamonte Drive died of a brain infection caused by an abscessed tooth. This tooth would have cost a total of $80 to remove; but, because his mother lost her medicaid insurance, she now visits her son in memory only. After the many surgeries Deamonte’s medical bills began escalating past $250,000. One has to ask, wouldn’t it have been cheaper to have provided a government-run option health plan; which his parent would not have been excluded from? Can anyone of us truly argue that Deamonte and many like himself would not be best served under the government-run option?

A big selling point in this bill for many Americans is the inclusion of treatment for pre-existing conditions. Many people with diabetes, heart disease and obesity are often refused insurance by most private providers as their health issues are deemed pre-existing. For instance, many of us know former Vice President Dick Cheney who has had heart disease for years; yet, he was given insurance coverage. Myself however, despite not having any prior or current health ailments, was denied individual health coverage because I am over weight and considered obese by the health industries outdated standards. I’m not alone in this discriminatory practice by the insurance industry. People with pre-existing conditions are forced to stay with their existing insurance plans, provided they have them, making it impossible to shop for cheaper premiums out of fear of being denied or dropped.

Senator Chuck Schumer is clearly pro government-run insurance. He believes that healthcare reform won’t work without it, and I believe this also. I believe this because, if there is no direct competition to private insurers, and with the GOP wanting to remove the government from regulating premiums out of the bill, then private insurance companies can make and raise our rates at will, thus making insurance once again unobtainable for most Americans.

About the only thing I dislike about the health reform bill is that we will be forced to choose a plan and penalized if we don’t. What happens if we lose our jobs, are we still going to be penalized?

With all the hot air being spilled by the GOP and the right wing conservatives, why have they not offered a plan of their own? Saying that there is nothing wrong with the existing healthcare in America not only shows the level of incompetence by the Republican party, but it is also offensive to intelligent Americans.

Two thumbs up for Obamacare!

Every 9/11 Americans are reminded of the WTC terrorist attacks. However the United States is attacked more frequently than many of us would like to believe. Often our policing agencies work in unison to foil terror plots our country is facing on a daily basis. For instance, on September 24^th, there were two separate and unrelated bombing attempts. One such attempt was on a 60 story downtown Dallas skyscraper and another was in Springfield Illinois. Earlier this month, several men in Colorado and New York are being charged or sought after for their roles in attempting to commit mass destruction on the United States.

I can’t help but wonder who’s doing this and how did they end up on US soil in the first place. With the exception of Timothy James McVeigh (Oklahoma City bombing, April 19, 1995) the majority of other terrorist were either Muslim and/or Middle Eastern. Fifteen of the nineteen 9/11 hijackers were from Saudi Arabia, two from the UAE, one from Egypt and one from Lebanon. So I ask, why do we insist on allowing immigration of individuals from known terrorist hotspots (Jordan, Iraq, Iran, Syria, Saudi Arabia and Egypt, parts of Lebanon, Palestine, Kuwait, Afghanistan, UAE, Pakistan, and India)? My initial thought is cheap labor, but most terrorist from these countries are skilled labor immigrants, well educated and do not come cheap. Are we importing Middle Eastern immigrants to appease their governments so that they will keep supplying oil? With double digit unemployment and a robust surplus of college graduates with degrees in technical and scientific fields, it has become obvious that the United States does not need to import skilled labor. In fact, we have a vast surplus of un-skilled and un-lettered citizens within the U.S. So why this great need to import and import recklessly? Within minutes of the September 11^th plane bombings the FBI already had names and faces of all 19 terrorist who were directly involved in the planning and attacks on the WTC. Khalid Sheikh Mohammed is associated with many of the September 11^th bombers. We now have a confession from him as the master mind behind 9/11/01 and let’s not forget the WTC bombing of 1993 where six Americans lost their lives and thousands were injured. Yet, these men were allowed in our country and were never monitored. Nothing was done until after the fact and after the fact is always too late!

Many debates have and will continue to take place as the decades pass as to why September 11^th happened in the first place. But, be prepared and forewarned that there is probably no one reason as to why the United States government continues to allow immigration of individuals from the Middle East. Many of these immigrants have terrorist ties just as the nineteen did. Arguments will be made that it would be discriminatory of the U.S. to disallow Middle Eastern immigrants; however, I beg to differ. If your citizens continue to murder mine in mass droves, do I not have the right to discriminate and remove them from my soil? Truly, discrimination is never a popular solution; but, if the U.S. government represented its citizens jealously, at least 6,000 plus of them would still be alive today. And, at 44 years old I would be able to go see the World Trade Center for the first time in person.

So the question remains, Why does the United States government continue to import Middle Eastern citizens?

Per the Sydney Daily Telegraph, World Champion Caster Semenya is a hermaphrodite. According to Webster’s Dictionary a hermaphrodite is an animal or plant having both male and female reproductive organs. Now let me pause here. Personally I believe Caster is male and just from the medical information disclosed and Webster’s definition, Caster is not a hermaphrodite. Caster does not possess both male and female organs per the article, only testicles, no uterus or ovaries, and from photos no breasts.

My problem here is not whether Caster should be allowed to race with women, my problem is the disclosure of what most would consider very personal medical information. I also have a problem with the manner in which the entire scenario has been handled. Serena Williams was denied the possibility of a grand slam title because of her behavior and rightfully so. Kanye West and R. Kelly both are taking it on the chin for their piss-poor behavior. So, why do we excuse the behavior of the International Association of Athletics Federations? Do you mean to tell me an organization that was founded in 1912 could not have handled this incident more professionally? And we wonder why Serena Williams behaved the way she did.

Caster and the coaches could have been told what the testing was really for and the world did not need to know her gender status. After all, at this point even the IAAF is confused. If you deny her trophy then you have determined she is a man and if she keeps it you’re saying she’s just a bad looking woman; either way Caster Semenya did not need to be embarrassed and made a mockery of.

First let’s get this out of the way. For all the wanna be statisticians here, please stop quoting statistics because they are wrong, 70% of the population in America is not White, because if it is, that would mean that every other ethnic group would have to make up the other 30% which is approx 3.75% of the population for each group. This would mean that Blacks only make up 3.75% in America, get real. And considering most Blacks refuse to participate in the census, it would be fair to say no one really knows how many Blacks are in this country. No one group makes up a mass majority of 70%.

The whole point here is no one has done extensive research of this nature so why keep throwing out stats.

My problem with the protesters is this: Where was all this protesting when George Bush, both of them, Dick Cheney and the rest of the GOP was economically destroying this country with their foreign policy, and war on Saddam. Even after they found that that administration presented a pack of lies to the public no one called for impeachment or even asked the GOP to explain this mess they left behind. If you listen to all these people on this list you would think the Obama administration was the direct cause for our financial mess and it is NOT. They are only trying to figure out this mess. Further, understand this if you want to keep CAPITALISM then you must understand the way it works. Money brings money, e.g. you have to spend it to get it. Also, In order for someone to make or keep a $1 someone else has to lose that dollar. You can’t make money out of thin air. No one makes money by themselves and no one gets rich by themselves.

For those who are crying about future generations paying for us, well I’m paying for my parents, grandparents and until recently great grandparents and I’m 44, no protest from the conservative base all these years, now they stand down at the Capitol and cry foul and you say race isn’t a factor, DO YOU REALLY THINK WE ARE THAT STUPID? Let me tell you, YOU ARE WRONG!!! RACE IS AND WILL ALWAYS BE A FACTOR IN AMERICA. YOU ARE NOT FOOLING ANYONE BUT YOURSELVES. The GOP had their chance, Obama has only been in office since mid-January give him at least half the chance you gave the GOP.

For those of you who said race is not an issue in these protest, answer me this, name one President in the history of the United States where people showed up to a town hall meeting toting their guns whether it was their right or not. YOU CAN’T NAME ONE!!! So why wait until America get’s the FIRST Black President to do this, and to do it on a single issue of Health care reform? IT WAS A TYPICAL AMERICAN RACIST SCARE TACTIC!

And this is why race relations in this country are deteriorating.

Personally, I don’t think it’s mean to demand she go because she is still partying like its 1999 and generally she’s not trying real hard. But, even if she was trying hard would it be uncaring of me to set her out. She is getting an unemployment check, yet offers nothing towards utilities or rent. Last Friday she gave me $40 and twice in the past she has bought food and that’s it.  Cleaning is obviously not part of her domestic skills as she never has cleaned a thing. I clean up behind her literally like a child and she was definitely not raised this way.

At this point I feel that she believes she is entitled to be taken care of and as her mother I must enlighten her.
